Anhydrous Sodium Acetate

Chemical formula: CH3COONa properties: colorless liquid ; CAS: 127-09-3

Product Introduction

Sodium acetate , also known as sodium acetate, generally exists in the form of sodium acetate trihydrate with three crystalline water. Sodium acetate trihydrate is colorless, transparent or white particles crystallized, which can be weathered in the air and can be combustible.

Characteristics

It is easy to soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, and loses crystallization water at 123°C, but it usually produces wet method and has the taste of acetic acid.

Applications

In current wastewater treatment, sodium acetate is becoming a replacement carbon source for methanol and is widely used in the denitrification process for placement of carbon sources. The content of sodium acetate liquid is flexible, and the sodium acetate crystals produced by our company are used in different manufacturers.
